Cattelan Italia presented a new vision of contemporary living at Salone del Mobile, held from 21–26 April 2026. At Hall 11, Stand A19, the Italian furniture brand introduced a redesigned exhibition space conceived as a complete living environment, bringing its furniture, finishes and new product ideas together in a more immersive setting.
The presentation reflected the direction of Cattelan Italia’s 2026 Collection, characterised by softer lines, fluid forms inspired by nature and a varied palette of materials and colours. Rather than presenting individual objects in isolation, the new stand demonstrates ways dining, seating, lighting and occasional furniture can work together within contemporary interiors.
One noteworthy development was the evolution of the Craig Modular Sofa by Maurizio Manzoni. Its new curved element adds greater freedom to the existing system, allowing more fluid compositions and creating opportunities for face-to-face seating. The softly enveloping backrest and continuous volumes give the sofa an architectural role, particularly in open-plan living spaces.
Material innovation also featured in the introduction of Taj Mahal ceramic, a new surface inspired by Brazilian quartzite. With a warm champagne base and delicate amber veining, the finish broadens the options available for Cattelan Italia’s ceramic furnishings while responding to the growing interest in expressive, natural-looking materials.
Beyond the fairgrounds, the brand also welcomed visitors to its renovated flagship store on Via Larga 23 in central Milan, where iconic designs and recent introductions were displayed together. The two locations offered different perspectives on the same design philosophy: sculptural furniture created to be experienced as part of a complete interior.
Through its latest presentation, Cattelan Italia continues to develop its distinctive approach to form, material and the relationship between furniture and architecture. Discover the newest products at Melandas Indonesia.
