History
Melandas was established in 1999 in a single gallery located inside Mall Taman Anggrek. Now with over 25 years of experience, Melandas has grown to become one of Indonesia’s leading retailers of imported furniture.
The company maintains close relationships and holds exclusive distribution rights to leading furniture brands including La-Z-Boy, Natuzzi, Eichholtz, Cattelan Italia, Arketipo Firenze, and Higold.
In 2021, Melandas launched its own brand, Dio Living, to meet the growing demand for locally crafted high-quality furniture. Dio Living products are inspired by Indonesia’s rich culture, traditions, and nature.
Melandas products are currently available in over 30 locations, inside our Flagship Store, monobrand showrooms, furniture galleries, and department stores nationwide.
1999
Melandas was established with the opening of its first showroom at Mall Taman Anggrek
2000
Melandas becomes the official partner and exclusive distributor of La-Z-Boy in Indonesia
2005
The first Melandas showroom outside Jakarta opens in Surabaya
2007
Melandas becomes the first and only distributor of Cattelan Italia
2012
The first Melandas showroom in Medan opens its doors
2013
Melandas continues its expansion and opens its first Bandung showroom at Paris Van Java
2016
La-Z-Boy products become available at department stores in Jakarta, Bandung, and Surabaya
2017
Melandas launches its current flagship store at Dipo Business Center
2018
Melandas begins its exclusive partnerships with Natuzzi Editions and Eichholtz
2020
Natuzzi Italia partners with Melandas and opens its first monobrand store at Plaza Indonesia
2022
Melandas is recognized as Furniture Retailer of the Year at Retail Asia Awards
2023
Melandas introduces Arketipo Firenze to the Indonesian market for the first time
