Description:

Lanting means “raft boat.” The LANTING sofa, also known as the Shell Chair, is inspired by the traditional sampan or boat under construction. The raft boats, once used as transportation along the Musi River, are reflected in the design, with the sampan-like form laid down and supported by structural elements on both sides.

These supports symbolize the need for a cover on the sampan, providing shelter for Musi River fishermen to rest while fishing. This design inspiration has been transformed into the Musi Banyuasin Collection, featuring the LANTING sofa in 1-seater, 2-seater, and 3-seater variations.
